The Lionfish Broadbarred Firefish, scientifically known as Pterois Antennata, is a captivating marine species native to the Indo-Pacific region. This species is also commonly referred to as the Antennata Lionfish, Spotfin Lionfish, Banded Lionfish, Ragged-finned Firefish, Rough-scaled Firefish, and Scorpion Miles. It displays beautiful vertical stripes along its body and has large fan-shaped pectoral fins. This carnivorous predator primarily feeds on small fish, shrimp, and crustaceans and is best suited for experienced aquarists due to its moderate care level and sensitivity to water condition changes.
