Overview:
The Toadstool Knobbly Soft Coral is a hardy leather coral with a classic toadstool shape and distinctive knobbly texture. Its wide, smooth cap and short stalk make it an elegant and low-maintenance addition to reef aquariums. Being cultured, this coral is tank-adapted, sustainable, and highly resilient.
Origin:
Aquacultured from Indo-Pacific broodstock, ensuring a robust and environmentally friendly coral suitable for aquarium life.
Feeding:
Photosynthetic, relying primarily on symbiotic zooxanthellae. While not required, supplemental feedings of phytoplankton or liquid coral foods can enhance growth and polyp extension.
Tank Mates:
Reef-safe and compatible with peaceful fish and invertebrates. Should be spaced apart from aggressive corals that may sting or overshadow it.
Aggression:
Low. Does not sting and generally coexists well with other reef inhabitants.
Experience Level:
Beginner to intermediate. Hardy and adaptable, thriving under a wide range of lighting and moderate water flow. Ideal for both novice and experienced reef keepers.
