In community settings, opt for tank mates of similar peaceful disposition and size compatibility, such as other non-aggressive fish species like loaches, peaceful cichlids, or certain catfish. Their calm temperament makes them excellent companions in a well-planned aquarium community.
Despite their impressive size, these gobies are remarkably docile, rarely exhibiting aggression towards tankmates. However, providing ample hiding spots and territories is advisable to reduce stress and potential territorial disputes.
