The Amikami Nano Goby is a small, peaceful, and cryptic marine goby with intricate patterns and subtle coloration. Perfect for nano or small reef tanks, it is known for its shy behavior and interesting burrowing habits.
Origin:
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, typically inhabiting sandy or rubble substrates near coral reefs.
Feeding:
Carnivorous. Feeds on microfauna, small crustaceans, and finely chopped meaty foods. Can also accept live or frozen foods such as copepods, brine shrimp, and mysis shrimp.
Tank Mates:
Peaceful. Best housed with other small, non-aggressive fish. Avoid large, aggressive tank mates that may outcompete or harass it.
Aggression:
Non-aggressive and shy; may retreat into sand or crevices when disturbed.
Experience Level:
Beginner to intermediate. Requires a mature tank with fine substrate for burrowing and stable water parameters.
