Overview:
The Bicolour Anthias is a striking and vibrant marine fish, featuring a two-toned body with a deep orange or reddish front half and a contrasting yellow to pink rear half. Active and social, it brings movement and eye-catching color to mid-water areas in reef aquariums.

Origin:
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, commonly found around coral reefs and rocky drop-offs, including areas such as Indonesia, the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea.

Feeding:
Planktivorous – feeds on zooplankton and small live or frozen foods. In captivity, provide frequent feedings of mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and other planktonic foods.

Tank Mates:
Best kept with peaceful reef fish. Compatible with other anthias, schooling mid-water fish, and reef-safe species.

Aggression:
Non-aggressive – thrives in groups of 6 or more, displaying natural schooling behavior.

Intermediate to advanced – requires a well-established aquarium with stable water parameters and frequent feeding.
