Overview:
The Elegant Blenny is a small, colorful marine fish, known for its slender body and delicate markings that give it a graceful appearance. Active and peaceful, it adds charm and personality to reef and community aquariums.
Origin:
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, including Indonesia, the Philippines, and northern Australia.
Feeding:
Omnivorous — feeds on algae, high-quality marine flakes or pellets, frozen mysis and brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood.
Tank Mates:
Suitable for peaceful reef and community aquariums, coexisting well with gobies, clownfish, damselfish, and other non-aggressive species.
Aggression:
Very peaceful, generally non-territorial.
Experience Level:
Recommended for beginner to intermediate aquarists, due to its hardy nature and easy care requirements.
