Description
Lemon Peel Dwarf Angelfish – Centropyge flavissima
Overview:
The Lemon Peel Dwarf Angelfish is one of the most vibrant dwarf angels, with a brilliant yellow body, striking blue accents around the eyes and fins, and a bold personality to match. Its vivid coloration makes it a true centerpiece in any marine aquarium.
Origin:
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, including reefs and lagoons from Micronesia to Australia.

Omnivorous – enjoys a diet of marine algae, spirulina, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and high-quality angelfish preparations. Supplement with algae sheets and seaweed for health and color vibrancy.

Best with semi-aggressive or peaceful fish of similar size. Can show territorial behavior toward other dwarf angelfish. Use caution in reef tanks, as they may nip at LPS corals, zoanthids, and clam mantles.
Aggression:
Semi-aggressive – active and occasionally territorial, especially in smaller tanks.
Experience Level:
Intermediate – hardy and adaptable, but requires stable conditions.
