Origin
Native to South and Southeast Asia, including India, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. Inhabits rivers, streams, and ponds with slow to moderate currents and dense vegetation.
Feeding
Omnivorous. Accepts high-quality flake foods, micro-pellets, frozen foods (bloodworms, daphnia, brine shrimp), and occasional live foods. A varied diet supports vibrant coloration and activity.
