Overview:
The Peach Damsel is a vibrant and hardy damselfish with a distinctive peach-to-orange body accented with subtle blue or yellow highlights. Known for its durability and activity, it’s an excellent choice for both reef and fish-only aquariums.
Origin:
Found throughout the Indo-Pacific, particularly around coral reefs, lagoons, and rocky coastal areas.
Feeding:
Omnivorous – thrives on a varied diet of marine flakes, pellets, frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood.
Tank Mates:
Best kept with semi-aggressive or similarly hardy species. While generally reef-safe, it can become territorial toward smaller, timid fish.
Aggression:
Semi-aggressive – more peaceful when young but territorial as it matures, especially in smaller tanks.
