Native to the Great Barrier Reef and eastern Australia.
Feeding:
Omnivorous — requires a varied diet of high-quality angelfish preparations, sponge-based foods, spirulina, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and chopped seafood.
Tank Mates:
Best suited to large community aquariums with robust species such as tangs, wrasses, and triggers. Not considered reef-safe as they may nip corals and invertebrates.
Aggression:
Semi-aggressive — may show territorial behavior, particularly toward other angelfish.
