Overview

Origin
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, including Indonesia and surrounding tropical reefs, Ctenoides ales inhabits sandy and rubble areas near coral reefs.
Feeding
A filter feeder that requires planktonic foods, such as phytoplankton, marine snow, or finely powdered coral foods. Consistent feeding and clean water flow are essential for health and coloration.
Tank Mates
Completely reef-safe and peaceful. Compatible with non-aggressive fish, shrimp, and other invertebrates. Avoid predators like large wrasses, puffers, or crabs that could damage or eat the scallop.
