Origin
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, including tropical reefs and seagrass beds, Dolabella auricularia inhabits sandy and rocky substrates where it grazes on macroalgae.
Feeding
Primarily herbivorous, feeding on macroalgae and seaweed. Supplemental feeding with nori or other algae sheets may be necessary in aquariums with limited natural growth.
Tank Mates
Peaceful and reef-safe, compatible with fish, snails, and other non-aggressive invertebrates. Avoid predatory species that may harass or eat the sea hare.
Aggression
