Origin:
Native to Costa Rica and western Panama, Talamancaheros sieboldii inhabits cool, oxygen-rich rivers and streamsin mountainous regions, particularly within the Talamanca mountain range, from which its genus name is derived.
Feeding:
Omnivorous. Will thrive on a varied diet of high-quality cichlid pellets, frozen foods such as krill, bloodworms, brine shrimp, and vegetable matter like spirulina flakes or blanched zucchini. A balanced diet ensures strong growth and coloration.
Tank Mates:
