The Yellow Head Moray Eel is a striking marine eel featuring a bright yellow head contrasting with a dark brown or black body, making it one of the most visually distinctive morays. Its slender, elongated body and active hunting behavior make it a fascinating addition to large aquariums.
Origin:
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, including coral reefs and rocky crevices around the Philippines, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea.
Feeding:
Carnivorous – feeds on small fish, crustaceans, and marine invertebrates. In captivity, provide meaty foods such as shrimp, squid, clams, and frozen marine preparations.
