Overview:
The Zebra Goby is a small, striking reef fish with a cream to pale body adorned with bold vertical dark stripes resembling a zebra pattern. Hardy and peaceful, it is an excellent choice for nano and reef aquariums, adding both activity and character.
Origin:
Found in the Indo-Pacific, especially in coral reef crevices and caves.
Feeding:
Carnivorous – enjoys small meaty foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, copepods, and finely chopped seafood.
Tank Mates:
Best kept with peaceful reef inhabitants including other small gobies, blennies, and non-aggressive community fish. Safe with corals and most invertebrates.
Aggression:
Peaceful, though males may show mild territoriality toward their own kind in smaller tanks.
Experience Level:
Beginner-friendly – ideal for small reef setups.
